Youth Mobility

The JuMo – Youth Mobile Perg Mitte project is a form of mobile youth work initiated by the Perg Social Welfare Association (SHV Perg) and implemented by the Perg Youth Center (JUZ). Here is a brief description:
JuMo – Youth Mobile Perg Mitte:

• Mobile youth work with micro-soccer
  Instead of a vehicle, we use our micro-soccer facility: a portable mini-soccer field that we drive directly to the middle schools in the Perg-Mitte region.
• Youth in the Perg-Mitte region
  Regular missions in and around Perg, especially at middle schools, allow us to easily engage in conversation and network.
• Building relationships through sport
  The movement-oriented approach lowers barriers: Kicking around creates natural starting points for conversation, counseling, and active listening.
• Low-threshold activities & workshops
  In addition to the soccer field, we offer small hands-on stations (team games, creative activities) – depending on on-site needs.

Goals & Impact:

• Building trust: Young people know where to find us and where to contact us.
• Strengthening social skills: Teamwork, fair play, and personal responsibility.
• Low-threshold counseling: A listening ear for personal questions about school, leisure, and family.
