No data protection officer has been appointed as there is no legal requirement.
The purpose of the processing is to take photos of events and publish them on the website and in social media channels, as well as in print media for public relations purposes and to showcase the activities of the responsible party in order to increase the responsible party’s awareness.
The legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) DSVGO (GDPR) and Sections 12 and 13 of the Data Protection Act (DSG), which consists in public relations work and the presentation of the controller’s activities in order to increase its visibility.
You have the right to object to the processing. The objection can be sent to jugendzentrum.perg@gmail.com (although any other form of objection is also possible).
However, it can be assumed that the controller’s interest in taking and using the photos does not unduly interfere with the rights and freedoms of natural persons, especially since they entered public spaces, were informed of the taking and use of the photos in advance of and during the event, and care is taken both during the taking of photos and their publication to ensure that no legitimate interests of the persons depicted are violated. If, for particularly compelling reasons, the rights and freedoms of a person depicted are violated, we will take appropriate measures to prevent further processing. Obliteration in print media that have already been published cannot be carried out. Deletion from the website or social media channels will be carried out within the scope of technical possibilities.
The following categories of recipients may receive the data:
Departments of the data controller that necessarily need to receive the data in the course of carrying out their duties (e.g. IT, other administrative units, marketing). Contractors and processors involved in processing (production and publication).
Tax advisors, authorities (tax office, other public authorities) as well as legal representatives (for the enforcement of rights, defense against claims, or in the context of administrative proceedings).
The data will be made publicly available on the internet and published on social media channels and in print media.
The data will not be disclosed to recipients who pursue their own purposes with such data. However, in the case of social media channels, it is possible that the respective social media service obtains rights of use to the published data.
Under applicable law, you as the data subject are, among other things, entitled (subject to the conditions of applicable law) to (i) verify whether and which personal data we have stored about you and obtain copies of such data, (ii) request the rectification, supplementation, or deletion of your personal data that are incorrect or not processed in accordance with the law, (iii) request us to restrict the processing of your personal data, (iv) under certain circumstances, object to the processing of your personal data or withdraw your consent previously given for processing, (v) request data portability, (vi) know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data are disclosed, and (vii) lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
In Austria, the competent authority is the Datenschutzbehörde (Data Protection Authority), Wickenburggasse 8, 1080 Vienna (email: dsb@dsb.gv.at).
